Brass is the standard metal for the baya drum. The bass, tones, and resonance that you get from brass are far superior to a baya which is made from steel or iron. Our brass bayas are nickel plated for a long lasting shine and elegant look. Brass bayas which are 3 KG or heavier also come with a hammered design which is created by hand.
